Unfortunately a lot of drugs are wasted by reaching their destinations that are past their shelf lives - this is due to the products being stored and shipped at improper temperatures or because of delays. This can not only make drugs ineffective but harmful and possibly damaging to the people who rely on them. This is a subject often discussed among those in the industry.
