Chromatography membrane for polishing applications
In collaboration with ProBioGen AG, Mustang Q chromatography membrane was evaluated as a polishing step following protein A affinity and cation exchange chromatography to remove residual host cell DNA during a Monoclonal antibody purification process. Data shows efficient DNA clearance by the chromatography step with excellent MAb recovery. Contribution of the Mustang Q chromatography membrane used as polishing step to HCP removal was also shown. A virus-spiking scale-down study demonstrated that overall viral clearance was sufficient for manufacturing of a safe drug substance for clinical trials.
