Pall Corporation and Artesyn Biosolutions will co-develop clinical to commercial-scale solutions for single-use automated bioprocessing systems.

The strategic collaboration is between Pall’s biotech business unit and Artesyn Biosolutions, a manufacturer of single-use components and fluid management technologies.

"Our long-standing relationship with Artesyn that has now been formalized as a collaboration to combine and leverage our technologies to deliver industrial and modular single-use bioprocess solutions," said Helene Pora, VP technical communication and regulatory strategy at Pall.

Together, Pora said the companies will be able to deliver automated single-use solutions to accelerate the speed of implementation and time to market for customers.

"And ultimately, this collaboration takes another step forward in industrializing the single-use industry," she told us.

The partnership also advances Pall Biotech's expansion of its Allegro single-use solution portfolio from upstream through downstream and to final filling, according to the company.
