ATMI says its new line of vials for use in the downstream process is pyrogen-free and sterile upon delivery.

The Pryrofree vials have been developed along with France-based contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) Disposable Lab (D-Lab), who partnered with ATMI in April over its cGMP compliant fill/finish technology.

According to ATMI, the vials can increase customer’s health and safety compliance as they arrive having already undergone a depyrogenation process - including washing and heating in a polyether ether ketone bag - allowing them to be ready-to-use upon delivery.

According to Pyrofree’s inventor and majority ownere of D-Lab, Jean-Pascal Zambaux, the vials are “the most cost-effective solution on the market, scalability from small to commercial-scale batches, and availability in both molded and tubular formats.”

Mario Philips - Senior VP of ATMI - added: “Pyrofree vials can be incorporated into ATMI's existing ultra-clean sterile packaging and fill/finish technologies, or used independently.”
