The new compact IVT 1000 CR cleanroom vacuum is equipped with a standard ultra-low penetration air (ULPA) exhaust filter that can collect and retain extremely small particles down to 0.12 microns and hold up to 3.25 gallons of waste.
The system, which is transparent for efficient monitoring, keeps these sub-micron particles in a disposable HEPA-filtered container to protect the vacuum from contamination as well as the providing the ability to dispose of waste safely.
The vacuum is quiet, easy to manoeuvre and is autoclaveable for easy and time-saving cleaning, said the company.
IVT 1000 CR is also available with optional Safe-Pak technology - a revolutionary new safe change system developed by Nilfisk for the airtight collection of hazardous material removal.
The Safe-Pak container is sealed, featuring a paper bag at the inlet and an upstream HEPA filter on the exhaust, to prevent any contaminant particles being exhausted into the atmosphere and allowing the entire container to be disposed of when full.
The Safe-Pak is already available with Nilfisk's 12.6 gallon vacuum and was adapted to fit the new 3.25 gallon vacuum after customer demand for a more compact version, a company spokesperson told In-PharmaTechnologist.com.
