Ex-PM David Cameron tells BIO 2017 not to worry about Brexit effect on employees

Didn’t make it to San Diego this year? Well neither did we, but still we bring you the best BIO 2017 has to offer.

Former UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s decision to hold a referendum on leaving the EU both ended his political career and sent the UK – and Europe – plummeting into the unknown.

But speaking yesterday at the BIO Convention in San Diego, Cameron admitted he would think about his decision ‘every day until he died,’ while allaying fears of Brexit’s impact on the biopharma sector.

“Don't worry about EU nationals working in your business, their rights will be guaranteed. Don't worry about accessing talent from the EU, some form of online work permit will be available,” he said. “Spend your time on the exact nature of the trading relationship between UK and EU.”
